Display your Faith With a Celtic Cool Cross Tattoo
There are many reasons why the design of the cross may be in this format, but many theories point to the crosses as predating the arrival of Christians to the region.
It is also a possibility that the design reflects the blending of two very different cultures and peoples. This figure is found all over the British Isles in a wide variety of forms, and you'll find some extremely ancient examples of the Celtic crosses in the forests and parks. When you look at the Celtic cross, you are looking at a piece of history that goes back thousands of years.
If you are interested in a Celtic cool cross tattoo, there is a good chance that you are interested in the art of the area of the world. Celtic knotwork, with its intricate loops and intertwining, has a great deal to recommend it to tattoo design, but remember that you want to make sure that your artist has a good history with the style.
When you are looking into getting a Celtic cool cross tattoo, take a look around. You'll find lots of interesting examples of this figure in the most unlikely places. Focus your search on cathedrals and graveyards and you'll be sure to get plenty of different sources of information for your tattoo!
Remember that the more intricate you want the detailing on this piece, the larger it will be; there are many people who have a Celtic cross as a backpiece or a chestpiece. If this design suits you, make sure that it's big enough to be seen and that the lines won't blur together over time!

Yeah we're on the outreaches of the continent of Europe. Not a bad spot, but a bit cold and wet. The history of Ireland is a long one, but I'll give you an overview. First people probably settled around 8,000BC, in the 5th Century AD the island was Christianised by a Roman called Palladius, in 795, Vikings began to raid settlements on the coast. They set up several towns. In the 11th century AD, the Anglo-Normans invaded and kicked the native Irish off their lands. These kinds of invasions continued into the 16th century. After several rebellions Ireland finally became a Free State from Britain in 1922 and a Republic in 1941. It's hard to go into a lot of detail here but if you do a google search you will get tonnes of information
Kindling the Celtic Spirit by Mara Feedman is a great book that gives examples of lifestyles in the ancient Celtic world.

Cartoonist Jack Kirby was reportedly very casual about how he drew his superhero comics (and he was such a genius it showed in the best possible way) but VERY opinionated about how you draw war. He fought in Normandy, I believe and it had a profound effect on him.
The usual descriptions of war are gray dull days punctuated by moments of sheer terror which are the explosions and firefights. Well, the colors which tend to produce excited reaction are red and yellow. Thus if you are showing action I would try to use reds and yellows to highlight it, however I would use grays and blacks in PREFERENCE to greens and blues, to emphasize the contrast between action and inaction.
Just about all of them do. It's ridiculous how easy it is for someone to get on welfare. Most people do not know what it's like to WORK for a living like our grandparents and great grandparents did. It's a shame you can hold your hand out and the government feeds you when you're more than capable of working.
I do agree some people to need help, but the majority do not. They are beyond lazy.
